Da Nang people are quite familiar with seeing advanced and performing mechanical-suction sweepers that are being used to clean the streets in the city.

In the early morning, people walking for exercise on the extended Bach Dang Street in Hai Chau District excitedly witness a Made in Italy Scarab sweeper that is performing street cleansing. This machine was imported from Italy on July 19 by the Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company.

Since July 25, one road sweeper made in USA has also been used in the city to clean such streets as Le Van Duyet, Ho Han Thuong, Le Duc Tho, Yet Kieu, Ngo Quyen, Hoang Sa, Vo Nguyen Giap during early morning and night hours.

Apart from the above-mentioned modern road sweepers, the Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company is using two other sweeping machines made in German to carry out street cleansing in the districts of Hai Chau, Thanh Khe, Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son, and Cam Le as per request from authorities in these locations

Sucking and sweeping road sweeper in the course of the work, adopts to be swept by mechanically operated rotation brush and scrapes road surface, sweep from road surface by some lightweight, bulky rubbish such as the scraps of paper on road surface, polybag, leaves, and take to carry out in the air on road surface floating. The sweeping system comprises a front side brush, a rear side brush and a main brush, wherein the front side brush, the rear side brush and the main brush are sequentially arranged in the front-back direction of the vehicle, and the main brush is a multistage rolling brush lifting mechanism.

Road sweeper is as one of sanitation equipment, it is a kind of new and effective cleaning equipment integrating road cleaning, garbage reclamation and transport, can extensively stand for the road-cleanings. Road sweeper not only can clean rubbish, also reduces and prevent the generation of traffic accident.
