VND137 billion for population allocation in natural disasters-prone areas
The Da Nang government has issued a plan to implement the programme on population allocation in disasters-prone areas in the 2021 - 2025 period, with a vision towards 2030 in the city. The project has a total cost of nearly VND137 billion to stabilise the population in disaster areas to improve people's lives, minimising damage caused by natural disasters.
Accordingly, in the 2021 - 2025 period, a stable arrangement will be made for 534 households in disasters-prone areas in the city, including 517 households in Hoa Vang District and 17 households in Cam Le District.
Particularly in the 2022 - 2025 period, on-site stabilisation support will be provided for 454 households in Hoa Chau, Hoa Tien, Hoa Phong, Hoa Khuong, Hoa Phu, Hoa Nhon, Hoa Lien and Hoa Bac communes.
In the 2023 - 2025 period, a project will be implemented to relocate 17 households out of landslides-prone areas around the Hoa Vang Martyrs Memorial Monument in combination with a green park.
In addition, in 2022, 63 households will be urgently relocated in landslide-prone areas in Hoa Son and Hoa Bac communes. This programme applies to the stable arrangement of population according to the plans of the State in areas vulnerable to such natural disasters as landslides, land subsidence, cyclones and flash flood in the city in 2021 - 2025 and an orientation towards 2030.
Eligible subjects are households that lost their houses and residential land due to landslides, flash floods, land subsidence, tornadoes and those living in areas at risk of natural disasters.
