He took the opportunity to ask the Thanh Khe Tay Ward authorities to expedite the site clearance work, and locals to create conditions for construction units to fulfill their tasks.

Secretary Lam also shared the recent unfavourable weather conditions-related difficulties with the construction units, especially the rising prices of petrol and construction materials, affecting the construction progress and the contractor's efficiency.

Mr. Le Tung Lam suggested the investor and construction units promote their achieved results, and strive to complete the construction work in 2022, with a focus on ensuring labour safety, especially in the upcoming the rainy season.

The Khe Can sewer line project is invested by the Management Board for the Da Nang Priority Infrastructure Investment Projects, and developed by the Trung Nam Construction Investment JSC.

The Khe Can sewer line through Thanh Khe Tay Ward is 479m long, 3.5m wide and 2m deep, and it will connect from the sewer through the railway to the drainage canal to the Phu Loc River.

Work started on the project on August 2, 2022. Till date, 43% of the project’s construction progress has been already completed. The project is expected to be completed in December 2022.
