The Vinmec Da Nang International Hospital, in collaboration with the Le Quy Don Senior High School for the Gifted, has held a seminar on ‘Health education on breast and thyroid diseases’ to raise awareness of teachers and parents, especially students, about the importance of early screening for breast and thyroid disease right from school age.

Within the framework of the programme, doctors and technicians of Vinmec Da Nang International General Hospital gave free consultation and answer questions related to pathology. Also, the medical team also instructs on how to prevent diseases by proper nutrition and exercise, corresponding to health status and age.

This activity was part of a series of community health education programmes, screening for breast and thyroid diseases implemented by Vinmec Da Nang in 2022.

Previously, Vinmec Da Nang had conducted public health education and screening programmes for different target groups such as entrepreneurs and university students.

From now until the end of 2022, Vinmec Da Nang will continue to implement school health education programmes and public health education in large at many other locations throughout the Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands regions.
