The Da Nang People's Committee has decided to sanction an administrative violation for the city-based Sao Thang Tam Trading and Service Co., Ltd. For having made noise in excess of the technical regulations.
Previously, officials from the Environmental Crime Investigation Department and other relevant agencies measured the noise emitted from the aforementioned company- run TST Garden facility at 44 February 3 Street, Hai Chau District, .

At the time of inspection, TST Garden was caught red handed violated the regulations on noise, exceeding the maximum allowable limit for noise in a special area (exactly the church area) from 9:00pm to 6:00pm according to the national technical regulation on noise.

Addition to face the fine, the company was requited to have their loud music playing activities at its TST Garden suspended for 4 month and 15 days.

Da Nang is one of the leading Vietnamese localities to strongly handle the highly concerning matter of noise pollution.

Publicity and advocacy work is given the top priority. But acts for profit that disregard community life and repeat offenders many times will have to be strictly handled.
