Accordingly, based on their certain functions and tasks, all agencies must continue to thoroughly grasp and organise the strict and effective implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control measures with priority given to avoid ‘overlapping epidemic’ increases as influenza immunity decreases. It is absolutely not be negligent, subjective, as well as to raise vigilance, strengthen the surveillance system and enhance treatment capacity.

Previously, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control had urged ministries and localities nationwide to continue focusing on disease control in the new situation.
