Charity house built for a poor family in Da Nang
The Hoa Hiep Nam Ward Chapter of the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee, the An Dien General Trading Company located at 96 Dien Bien Phu Street, Thanh Khe District, and the Da Nang Newspaper on Thursday worked together to hand over a charity house to family of 92-year-old Le Thi Phan, living in Lien Chieu District.

The home construction took 2 months to complete with the funding of VND 50 million from the An Dien General Trading Company through the Da Nang Newspaper.
Ms. Le Thi Phan's family is living under very difficult circumstances. Her family has 6 members, one of whom is 92-year-old Le Thi Phan and the others are her son Huynh Cu and her daughter-in-law Truong Thi Nga, both aged 63, who lost earning capacity due to illness, along with 2 grandfather children and 1 grandmother child. Her family lived in a downgraded house as they couldnot afford to repair it.

“The financial support from the An Dien Company through the Da Nang Newspaper for Mrs Phan's family helped them live in a spacious house and have a stable life. This activity shows the spirit of mutual love and mutual affection of the community, contributing to effectively implementing the city’s social welfare policy, as well as joining hands with local level authorities to help poor households have a stable accommodation, and rise out of poverty," affirmed Mr. Pham Nam, the Chairman of The Hoa Hiep Nam Ward Chapter of the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee.
Director Lien pledged that the company would continue its efforts to work with the Da Nang Newspaper to help more poor households rise up and out of poverty.
