Da Nang receives 14 new generation garbage compactor trucks
On Saturday, the Da Nang Urban Environment JSC received 14 garbage compactor trucks with lids from the Sai Gon Transportation Mechanical Corporation - One Member Co., Ltd (SAMCO) and the Duc Long Transport-Trade and Industrial Construction JSC.

Of this, 10 garbage compactor trucks have a tank capacity of 4m3 and loading weight of 1.5 tonnes each, whilst the remaining 4 have a tank capacity of 7m3 and loading weight of 3 tonnes each.
The Da Nang Urban Environment JSC has allocated VND16.22 billion VND from its budget and borrowed from the city’s Development Investment Fund to buy these trucks.
The trucks are new generation small garbage compactor trucks in service of the collection and transportation of garbage along small roads across the city, as well as transferring trash to the garbage transfer station on Le Thanh Nghi Street and the Son Tra garbage transfer station in the coming time.
They boast outstanding technical features, manufactured and assembled with high quality technical standards. The specialized trash compactors are made of lightweight alloy with high durability. The hydraulic system and the control of the garbage compactor are designed optimally and simply to ensure the operational efficiency.
In addition, the vehicles are equipped with sealed leachate containers to prevent leachate from flowing onto the road. They are also equipped with barrel lids that are hydraulically controlled, avoiding diffusing odors when travelling on the street.
Earlier, in mid-2022, the Da Nang Urban Environment JSC purchased a new road sweeper, 2 garbage compactor trucks with a tank capacity of 9.5m3, and one garbage compactor truck with a tank capacity of 14m3.
