Accordingly, 6 groups of goods and services will participate in the OCOP programme, namely food, beverages, medicinal herbs and medicinal products, handicrafts, ornamental animals, and community tourism services.
By 2025, the whole city will have developed about 135 OCOP products labeled with 3 stars. The city will upgrade from 2-3 5-star potential products for their potential recognition as national-level OCOP products by the national government, upgrade at least 50% of OCOP products that have been evaluated and graded, strive to have at least 3-5 OCOP products which are products of traditional and agricultural craft villages, along with 2 rural tourism products and services.
In addition, the city will focus on prioritising the development of OCOP subjects such as cooperatives, cooperative groups and small and medium-sized enterprises, ensuring over 70% of OCOP products to be certified with quality management systems such as ISO, HACCP, VietGAP and GLOBALGAP.
Other targets include at least 60% of the OCOP subjects participating in sales channels, 80% of the products being promoted online on e-commerce platforms and websites, and the setting up of a centre for displaying, introducing and promoting OCOP products at the municipal level.
