Son Tra Peninsula to welcome visitors back from early January 2023

Da Nang’s Son Tra Peninsula will welcome back visitors starting from January 1, 2023, according to the Management Board of the peninsula and Da Nang Tourism Beaches.

Accordingly, a road leading to the peninsular from Yet Kieu Street to the top of ‘Ban Co’ (Chessboard Peak), the another from Le Van Luong T-junction to Bai Bac T-junction, and the route passing the Suoi Da, will be reopened to traffic from early January.

Meanwhile, the remaining routes, from the Ban Co to Bai Bac tourist site, from the Bai Bac tourist site to a deer-shaped banyan tree, and Tien Sa Route, are under repairs and will be reopened to traffic as soon as possible.

In order to ensure the safety of visitors, the management board arranges a regular patrol force during the operating hours to guide visitors, and at the same time places barrels and instruction signs at landslide locations.

Also, the management board will coordinate with relevant units to implement a management plan to ensure the safety of visitors to the Son Tra Peninsula.

The time allowed to visit the Son Tra Peninsula is from 7:30am to 6:30pm between March and September, and from 7:30am - 5:30pm between October and February.

Tourists are allowed to visit banyan tree, ‘Ban Co’ (Chessboard Peak), Bai Bac and Suoi Om tourist sites, and others.
