Da Nang Hospital provides free rides for poor patients to return home for Tet
On January 17 and 18 (26th and 27th days of the 12th lunar month), the Da Nang Hospital cooperated with benefactors to offer free rides to take poor patients whose medical treatment ends to their hometowns to celebrate Tet.

Over the past time, the hospital has coordinated with benefactors to carry out many meaningful activities for its poor patients. Included were spring of love, free haircut services, free heart surgery, and giving hair to cancer patients.
In particular, offering free-of-charge travel to bring poor patients back to their hometowns to enjoy Tet is an annual activity organized by the hospital’s Department of Social Work, the hospital’s Trade Union and benefactors.
According to Deputy Director of the Da Nang Hospital Nguyen Thanh Trung, the programme created closeness between patients, patients' family members and medical staff; contributed to helping patients reduce their hardships and ensure their health when returning home to celebrate Tet; and improve patient satisfaction when coming to the hospital for treatment.
The free coaches departed from the gate of the Da Nang Hospital at 124 Hai Phong, Hai Chau District, and then travel along National Highway 1A to Dien Ban Town, Duy Xuyen District, Huong An T-junction in Que Son District, Thang Binh District, Tam Ky City and Nui Thanh District in Quang Nam Province, and Quang Ngai Province.
