52 typical YU members receive 'March 26' Awards 2023
The Da Nang Youth Union held a ceremony in the city on Thursday evening to celebrate the 92nd founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26).

Secretary of the municipal Youth Union Nguyen Manh Dung informed outstanding achievements from the organisation’s 3 movements and 3 programmes in combination with the city’s '5 No's, 3 Yes's' programme and the 'City of 4 Safe Programmes', which have promoted the role of youth volunteering in performing assigned tasks.
He remarked the year 2023 is designated by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union as the ‘Year of digital transformation for Youth Union activities’.
He, therefore, took the opportunity to call on Youth Union members and young people across the city to promote their role of impulsiveness, volunteerism and creativity in the application of new technologies to speed up the implementation of digital transformation. This will contribute to fulfilling political and professional tasks and building Da Nang into an increasingly civilised and beautiful city.
Authorised by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the municipal Youth Union awarded ‘Medals for Young Generations’ to 10 outstanding individuals who devoted their love and enthusiasm to the development of the city's young generations.
Besides, ‘ March 26’ Awards 2023 were given to 52 typical Youth Union officials in recognition of their new and typical initiatives, models and solutions which were successfully applied to the Youth Union's movements.
On the occasion, the organisers opened the Camp of Firmly Pioneering in 2023 running until March 25. The camping event includes 8 camps with the participation of 500 campers from 24 units under the Youth Union.
