Mr. Nguyen Trong Phi, the owner of seafood restaurant in Pham Van Dong Beach area, said that his restaurant has been open for nearly 6 years. In recent years, his restaurant has welcomed a lot of tourists, especially those from China and South Korea. “A few days ago, I heard that the Chinese government has announced a list of pilot countries, including Viet Nam, to which China's group tours can be conducted starting from March 15, so in the near future, the shop will recruit more staff to serve guests as fully as possible during this tourist season”.

These days, Da Nang has braced for hot weather but the preparation for the tourist season is still going on continuously.

Many restaurants and hotels on Ho Nghinh Street are getting new ‘coats’ to serve tourists this year.

In addition, if tourists want to experience the feeling of picking up fresh seafood with their own hands, they can go to Tho Quang fish market in Son Tra District. Tho Quang fish market has been in operation since midnight and will end at 8.00 a.m next day.

The street decoration is also being carried out quickly by the city's functional forces. According to the Da Nang Statistics Bureau, travel activities and tourism services have gradually regained their growth momentum. The number of guests staying in accommodation facilities across the city in February was more than 378.000, up 3.9% over the previous month and many times higher than the same period in 2022.
