Many restaurants, shopping facilities and hotels on such busy urban streets as Ho Nghinh Vo Nguyen Giap and Tran Bach Dang as well as those inside the An Thuong tourist quarter are busy upgrading their infrastructure to welcome guests during the upcoming summer tourist season, especially after the Chinese government has decided to add Viet Nam to the list of countries to which its nationals can go on outbound tours with effect from March 15.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Phi, the owner of seafood restaurant in Pham Van Dong Beach area, said that his restaurant has been open for nearly 6 years. In recent years, his restaurant has welcomed a lot of tourists, especially those from China and South Korea. “A few days ago, I heard that the Chinese government has announced a list of pilot countries, including Viet Nam, to which China's group tours can be conducted starting from March 15, so in the near future, the shop will recruit more staff to serve guests as fully as possible during this tourist season”. |
