The Da Nang government has asked relevant units to ensure urban beauty for activities in celebration of the 48^th anniversary of the Liberation of Da Nang (March 29).

Accordingly, the municipal Department of Natural Resources and Environment is urged to coordinate with the Department of Construction, the district-level authorities and relevant units to strengthen environmental sanitation activities in the city.

Also, public sanitation units are required to make plans to collect and transport garbage to ensure environmental sanitation, call on people to actively join the 'Green, Clean, and Beautiful Sunday' campaign, and repair downgraded public toilet facilities.

The municipal Department of Culture and Sports will work with other departments, agencies and localities to create at least one check-in point in each district before March 27 in order to serve locals and tourists.

The municipal Department of Construction will increase inspections and supervisions in order to timely detect and handle construction violations, as well as remind and urge construction investors to ensure safety, aesthetics and urban environment at construction sites.

Moreover, police will strengthen patrols to control traffic order and safety along main roads, tourist attractions, and bathing areas, as well as guide locals and tourists to park their vehicles in right places.
