Firefighters rescued two people trapped in a fire that burned a house in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District in the early hours on Tuesday.

The blaze broke out at a house at alley No. 319/2 Trung Nu Vuong Street, Hoa Thuan Dong Ward, Hai Chau District, at around 0:35 am on the same day.

Local people called firefighters for help as the inferno quickly spread to adjacent houses.

Upon receiving a report about the fire, two fire engines and dozens of firefighters from the district’s Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Division were sent to the scene.

Firefighters immediately used fire hoses to put out the fire, while other rescuers managed to help two people stuck in the fire get out.

At 1:10am, the fire was extinguished, and two victims were saved.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by police in Hai Chau District.
