Temporary suspension of tourist boats at Song Han Port to prepare for DIFF 2023
Following recent approval by the Da Nang government, the operation of the Song Han (Han River) Port is temporarily suspended, and infrastructure items at the port are being removed.
The area will be temporarily designated for the organisation of the upcoming Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2023 which will take place in the city from June 2 - July 8.
Accordingly, the water area and wharf at the Central Regional Oil Spill Response Centre on the western side of the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge will be used temporarily for the anchoring and operation of tourist boats, as well as pick-up and drop-off services for sightseeing boats on the Han River - Tran Thi Ly Bridge during the temporary closure of the Song Han Port.
The entire system of isolation fences, container offices, ticket counters and toilets at the Song Han Port will be temporarily installed at the Central Regional Oil Spill Response Centre.
It is known that from May 15 - 17, cruise ships at the Song Han port are asked to stop their operations to serve the dismantling and handing over of the Han River Port and relocation of cruise ships to the Central Regional Oil Spill Response Centre.
