‘Godmother - Continue to pursue your dreams with me’ was the theme of the Da Nang Women's Union- organised programme on Friday to create a playground for exchange and sharing, contributing to cementing the bond of love between godmothers and less fortunate children.

Sponsored by the ‘Godmother’ programme, 50 orphaned children took trips to at scenic spots and historical sites across the city and spent relaxing time there.

At the programme, pupils and their godmothers laid wreaths, offered incense and paid tribute to heroic martyrs at the Revolutionary Base of Hoa Vang District Party Committee.

This was an opportunity for mother-child pairs in the ‘Godmother’ programme to get close and share their feelings with each other.

The programme not only provided care and material help to orphans, but also contributed to motivating and encouraging them mentally.

This was a highly-practical activity, a useful playground for children before the 2023 - 2024 new school year.
