The People’s Committee of Hoa Bac Commune in Hoa Vang District and the Da Nang branch of the Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Viettel) have recently inked a cooperation agreement on deploying digital transformation in 2023, and presenting 50 smartphone, worth VND100 million in total, for Co Tu people.

The intention was to ensure that 100% of Co Tu households have smartphones, making it easier to access information, use digital transformation services and utilities among them, and promptly receive information and instructions from local  authorities. This has helped improve their spiritual and material life, contributing to helping Da Nang realise its target of having 100% households having smartphones and 100% of adults having smartphones.

To mark this occasion, Viettel Da Nang has coordinated with the People's Committee of Hoa Bac Commune and related units to guide locals to istall, register and use applications that access and use the internet such as email, e-commercial platforms, electronic payments, online public services, and the Danang Smart City application.
