Campaign to make the world cleaner launched in Da Nang
On Sunday, the Da Nang Confederation of Labour launched a campaign to make the world cleaner in Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District.

The event which attracted more than 200 trade union members, workers, and labourers, aimed to raise awareness of waste classification at source with 3 types of waste: organic waste, inorganic waste, and recyclable waste.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Vice Chairman of the municipal Confederation of Labour Le Van Dai requested the Executive Committee of the Trade Union organization of Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, the Confederation of Labour of Lien Chieu District, and the executive board of groups of self-managed workers to effectively classify waste at source.
He also voiced his hope that the city's Trade Union organisations at all levels will actively coordinate with the authorities at the same level to launch and effectively implement a number of movements, including " Green - clean - beautiful - safe - labor hygiene enterprises", "Anti-plastic waste", "Volunteer Saturday", "Green - clean - beautiful Sunday", and "No plastic bag day".

After the launching ceremony, the city's Confederation of Labour provided 50 waste bins for groups of self-managed workers. Meanwhile, the participants got actively involved in cleaning up waste and clearing bushes on residential roads in the Quang Thanh 4A residential area, Hoa Khanh Bac Ward.
