Da Nang has secured its top position in Viet Nam in a set of Environmental Protection Indicators (PEPI) which is issued by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE).

This is the second consecutive year that Da Nang has led the country with a total score of 73.33 points.

It is followed by Bac Kan (70.29 points), Lang Son (65.62 points), Bac Ninh (65.29 points), Tien Giang (65.22 points), Tay Ninh (65.08 points ), and Tra Vinh (64.91 points).

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment requests the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities to base on the results of implementing the set of indicators to evaluate environmental protection results, and have solutions to ensure the effectiveness of environmental protection and improve the indicators in the following years.
