Overcoming adversity, Tran Manh Huy, General Director of V.B.P.O JSC, who is now Director of the Rainscales Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Da Nang, has made many practical contributions to the society.

When he was born, Huy was not as lucky as others. He had a partial disability and had to rely on his family for all daily activities. However, he has never stopped fighting to win a good life.

After graduating from the Le Hong Phong Specialised High School based in Ho Chi Minh City, Manh Huy studied at the University of Science and Technology under the Ho Chi Minh City National University in Information Technology Major.

With tireless efforts, Huy graduated from the university at the top of his class and applied to teach at a university in Ho Chi Minh City. Sometime later, he was recruited by a leading American software company.

In 2006, Huy returned to Da Nang to teach information technology software, then worked as a manager of the central region at the FPT Information Systems Company.

After much thought and concern, he considered something bigger than helping unfortunate people like himself.

Therefore, in 2010, Huy founded the V.B.P.O JSC to provide comprehensive data processing and service solutions for businesses.

Huy shared "As a disabled person, I understand the difficulties of disabled people when applying for a job. When I had the opportunity, I cherished a dream of creating jobs for people with disabilities. The company focuses on technologies to help people with disabilities have labour skills to do jobs like normal people".

He thinks that this field will be very suitable for people with disabilities, so the first thing he does is to recruit people with disabilities to work in order to train them in information technology and help them have jobs with stable income.

After a period of searching, Mr. Huy saw many opportunities with any workforce. Therefore, he has raised the full potential of his labour group. If that labor group is not strong enough, he will improve their capacity. Up to now, the company has autistic and speech-impaired workers, but they are much better than normal ones.

With the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, Huy helps V.B.P.O become the leading company providing business process outsourcing services in Viet Nam, especially for Japanese, European and American customers.

Not only stopping at V.B.P.O, Mr. Huy has tried his best to seek potential partners in Japan, the United States, and other foreign countries.

His great efforts were paid off as, in early 2023, he convinced his partner to establish the Rainscales Global company in Houston, Texas which specialises in AI and Robotic services for the oil and gas, healthcare, and fintech industries, etc.

In Da Nang, Rainscales Vietnam Co., Ltd. undertakes all stages of requirements analysis, operation and service transfer with 100% Vietnamese personnel.

With its dedication and reputation, V.B.P.O, now Rainscales Viet Nam, is attracting more customers, including those who are considered the most demanding in the world.

Thanks to his extraordinary efforts, Huy not only overcomes adversity but becomes a useful person to society by creating jobs and sustainable income for disabled people. He is not only a shining example for people with disabilities, and other people, to follow.

In addition to working at the V.B.P.O JSC, or Rainscales Vietnam Co., Ltd., Huy is an Associate Professor, Doctor, Head of the Information Technology Department of the Da Nang University of Architecture. This is considered his other contribution to the community as creating a high-quality workforce for Da Nang in particular and Viet Nam in general.

Currently, Huy's business creates stable jobs for dozens of disabled people with an average monthly salary from VND7 million - 25 million/person. Each year the company creates an estimated hundreds of millions of dollars in products for customers in Japan and the US, contributing to the development and serving socio-economic development in Da Nang.

"Da Nang is as a starting point of my dream to offer job opportunities for the poor and the disabled in Viet Nam. I feel joy and happy when my colleagues are joining efforts with me to realize that dream every day, thereby contributing to stabilising social security issues, and bringing wealth and prosperity to the country", Huy confided.
