Fire drill at Sun World Ba Na Hills Tourist Area
A fire drill involving 80 participants and 5 vehicles was held at the Moon Castle of Da Nang’s Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area on Wednesday.

The firefighting and rescue drill was co-organised by the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Division under the Da Nang Police Department, and the Ba Na Cable Car Service JSC.
In a hypothetical scenario, a fire broke out the ‘Giao Lo Trang’ Cinema. Fire could spread quickly to the floor area, substances and materials used for soundproofing on walls and ceilings.
Immediately, the alarm bell rang, and the fire prevention and rescue work was activated. At the same time, the cinema’s employees called the professional fire prevention and rescue police force 114 for support.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Division sent 30 firefighters and 4 specialised fire engines of all types to the scene to put out the fire and save victims.
Nearly 400 people who were in the cinema at the time of the incident were all safely evacuated.

The Ba Na Cable Car Service JSC assigned 50 employees along with the medical team and local ambulance to participate in fire prevention and fighting drill.
