A training course on skills to support people with signs and symptoms of depression was organised on Saturday for members of the Women’s Union chapters in residential areas in Hoa Vang District.

The event was jointly organised by the Social Work Centre under the Da Nang Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Women's Union chapter in Hoa Vang District.

During the course, trainees were provided with general knowledge about depression, psychological symptoms of depression, and how to support people with signs of depression.

The purpose of the course was to improve capacity in detecting, supporting and consulting people with signs of depression in residential areas, thereby contributing to enhancing the quality of life for locals.
