Visiting the Military School of Military Zone 5, Chairman Ngo Xuan Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the unit in recent times, contributing to training many soldiers to meet national defence tasks not only in Da Nang but also in the Central Viet Nam and Central Highlands regions.

He hoped that the unit will continue upholding their achieved results and promoting solidarity and determination to well fulfill its tasks in 2024.

At the 699th Armored Battalion, Mr. Thang praised the unit for its outstanding achievements in 2023. He also highly spoke of the Battalion's officers and men for  great efforts in mass mobilisation work, especially helping local people during floods, storms and natural disasters.

He continued to ask for support from the unit's officers and men in natural disaster prevention, mitigation and rescue work.

Meanwhile, Chairman Thang wished all officers and soldiers of the Security Group 3 based in Son Tra District,  and their families, a good health.

He hoped that in the coming time, the unit will continue to maintain good relationships and connections with the government and people in the stationed area, as well as promote heroic traditions in order to overcome difficulties and complete assigned tasks, thereby contributing to building and protecting the fatherland in the new situation.
