One hundred Tet gifts, worth VND500,000 each, were given to families in difficult circumstances at the ‘Spring of Love’ programme which was held on Saturday by the Da Nang Youth Union and the People's Committee of Hai Chau District.

This was a meaningful and practical activity with the aim to encourage poor households to improve in life and facilitate them to celebrate a joyful and warm Lunar New Year.

The ‘Spring of Love’ programme was part of the municipal Youth Union-organised volunteer activities in winter 2023 and spring 2024. Its purpose was to promote the spirit of volunteerism among the youth, create an environment for them to devote themselves to their community, and partly contributed to helping the city realise the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.
