City Party chief presents Tet gifts to poor households
On Monday, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang, on Monday, visited and gave Tet gifts to poor and near-poor households, and families in difficult circumstances, in Cam Le and Lien Chieu districts.

Secretary Quang wished everyone a peaceful, prosperous and happy Tet. He also praised leaders of the Party Committee, the government, and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Lien Chieu and Cam Le districts for well caring for the poor.
Currently, there are more than 7,000 poor households and over 3,000 near-poor households according to the city standards. Recently, the city has issued many guidelines and policies to care for poor and near-poor households. Therefore, in the coming time, authorities at all levels need to proactively pay more attention to taking care of people's lives.
The city Party chief stressed the need for relevant agencies to provide timely support for needy people so that they can celebrate Tet in the spirit of no one being left behind.
On the occasion, the city leaders gave 60 gifts, each worth VND1 million in cash and necessities, to people in need.
