On Wednesday, the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations (DAFO) and the city-based Duy Tan University signed a cooperation agreement on carrying out people-to-people diplomacy activities in the city during the 2024 - 2026 period.

Accordingly, the two sides will focus on peace, solidarity, friendship and people-to-people, and cultural and artistic exchanges with other countries; educational exchange; mobilisation of foreign non-governmental aid; international volunteers; and the communications sector.

DAFO President Nguyen Ngoc Binh highlighted the significance of the signing ceremony in marking a milestone during the development of cooperation between the two units.

He, at the same time, expressed his belief that the signing ceremony will improve the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy activities in Da Nang in the coming time. This will contribute to expanding international exchange activities, as well as strengthening friendship and cooperation between Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole, and countries worldwide.
