Mrs. Khai began participating in women's activities in the local community in 2008, aiming to collaborate with the community and the Women's Union in the ward to enhance the lives of women and the general population. Serving for over 15 years as the Head of Women's Union in residential area 4 and concurrently as the Head of the Savings and Loan Group of the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policy, a population collaborator, she is always actively involved, visiting each household, especially those facing difficulties, to understand their needs and desires. She then proposes assistance directions to the Women's Union for timely support.

Despite facing challenges, Mrs. Khai is dedicated and passionate in every task, managing social policy credit efficiently in the area. She has helped many union members overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and gradually progress in economic development for their families, actively contributing to the women's movement and union activities at the local level.

Her responsible management has made the credit activities increasingly effective, truly acting as the "extended arm" of the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policy, ensuring the proper allocation of funds to the intended beneficiaries. She consistently attends meetings, debt reconciliation sessions of the bank, and maintains regular union activities to stay informed about local policies and directions

Also, to maximize the effectiveness of funds, Mrs. Khai provides dedicated advice, helps families plan their businesses, shares production and business experiences, guides efficient use of borrowed capital, and supports each other in difficult times. This has resulted in dozens of families escaping poverty, now leading stable lives.

Ms Le Thi Xuan Phuong, a member of the Savings and Loan Group in residential area 4, Hoa Phat Ward), mentioned that her family was once in a difficult situation and received a loan of VND 50 million from the poor household fund. Having Ms Khai's enthusiastic guidance on business operations and thrift, the family has become one of the highest-income borrowing households in the community and serves as a positive example for the entire ward.

For the time being, the Savings and Loan Group managed by Mrs. Su Thi Khai has nearly 60 borrowing households, participating in various credit programs of the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policy in Cam Le District. These programs include loans for poor households, households being under poverty thresholds, newly escaped poverty households, employment solutions, and social housing.

Ms Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao, Vice President of the Women's Union in Hoa Phat Ward, expressed, "Despite her old age, Ms Khai is very enthusiastic about union activities, setting a shining example for many union officials, members, and women in residential area 4 and Hoa Phat Ward. She has made significant contributions to improving both the spiritual and material lives of women, ensuring social welfare in the locality."

The total debt of the Savings and Loan Group managed by Ms. Khai is currently over VND 2 billion, with no overdue debts. The savings balance exceeds VND 100 million, with 100% of borrowing households having savings, averaging more than VND 2 million per household.

With Ms Su Thi Khai's thorough supervision from loan assessment to fund utilization and enforcement of commitments with the Social Policy Bank, all borrowing members are conscientious in repaying loans on time, avoiding overdue and bad debts. This contributes to the successful achievement of local economic development goals and sustainable poverty reduction.

In addition to her involvement in credit support, Mrs. Su Thi Khai is also passionate and dedicated to other activities and movements of women in the community, as well as family planning and population work. The Women's Union in residential area 4, led by her, consistently achieves high results in competitions organized by the Women's Union in Hoa Phat ward.
