The Traditional Liaison Committee of the Border Guard of Da Nang held its 7^th Congress for the 2024-2029 term on Friday.

During the past term, the Traditional Liaison Committee of the city’s Border Guard visited, gave spiritual encouragement, and supported 21 former border guards in difficult circumstances.

The unit made recommendations to the city’s Border Guard Command to award the Medal "For Sovereignty and Border Security" to 8 comrades.

At the same time, local border guards actively got involved in local movements such as poverty reduction, helping social policy families, building a cultural and civilised urban lifestyle at the grassroots level, and the 'Green, Clean, and Beautiful Sunday' campaign.

To mark this occasion, the Traditional Liaison Committee launched the book called "Memories of the Quang Nam - Da Nang Border Guard".

The book has more than 420 pages with nearly 100 articles which are diverse in genres, and is an overall picture recording the activities of the Quang Nam - Da Nang border guards from their inception to the present.
