Talk show 'Tet is not far from home'
The Da Nang Confederation of Labour in coordination with the Da Nang Radio and Television Station held the talk show entitled "Tet is not far from home" on Sunday to give spiritual encouragement to 150 migrant workers in the city who cannot return to their hometown for Tet holiday.

Vice Chairwoman of the municipal Confederation of Labour Dinh Thi Thanh Ha shared that in 2023, besides the recovery and maintenance of some businesses, many businesses were still in a volatile situation, leading to the workers' lives being extremely difficult.
With the determination to accompany businesses and workers, the city's Trade Union organisations at all levels promptly implemented many meaningful and practical programmes and activities to take care of the lives of workers in the city.
According to Mrs. Ha, in an effort to bring a fuller and warmer Tet to trade union members and workers, the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of the city decided to give 8,000 Tet gifts, totalling VND8 billion, to trade union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Moreover, the municipal Confederation of Labour donated an additional 11,900 gifts, with a total cost of nearly VND10 billion, to poor worker; and 960 Tet gifts, valued at VND500,000 each, to single women and workers in difficult circumstances at self-managed worker groups of boarding houses in districts of Lien Chieu, Son Tra, Cam Le and Hoa Vang.
