The People's Committee and Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Phuoc Ninh Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang organised the Charity Spring Fair on Saturday morning to welcome Lunar New Year 2024.

The purpose of the annual social welfare activity in the ward is to support poor households and families in difficult circumstances to celebrate a happy and warm Tet, thereby, empowering recipients to overcome their circumstances and spreading love to the community in a meaningful and practical way.

Also at the market, the ward coordinated with businesses and benefactors to give 400 gifts, totalling around VND900 million, to needy people in the ward. Each of the gifts includes cash and other necessities such as rice, meat, ‘banh chung’, ginger jam and sugar.
