The stylized dragon mascot was installed at the T-shaped bridge on Bach Dang Street.

After the Tet Festival 2023 ended, the municipal Department of Construction and related units donated many cat mascots and decorative items for Tet to schools in Hoa Vang District in a bid to hold on to the Tet festive atmosphere a few days longer in rural areas. These donated items made rural pupils feel more joyful on the first day back at school after the Tet holiday as they could see funny cat mascots with their own eyes, as well as touch them with their own hands.

Especially, the Bach Dang Flower Street for Tet 2024 added new vitality to the city. The dragon mascots at flower decoration spots for Tet will be used to create a Dragon Park located in Son Tra District in a bid to create a new tourist attraction in Da Nang that will feature such essential services as toilets, food kiosks, self-serve photo kiosk, outdoor stages, park control house, and security house.

Specifically, the Da Nang government has directed the municipal Department of Construction to work with MoNo BoGo Vietnam Co., Ltd and Minh Tuan Tu Consulting and Construction Co., Ltd that got involved in setting up the flower street for Tet to bring all dragon mascots and some flower arrangement miniatures for Tet decorations to a vacant lot with about 2.8 hectares located in the northwest of the intersection of Vo Van Kiet and Vo Nguyen Giap streets in order to create a Dragon Park. At the same time, heed will be paid to coordinating with relevant units and businesses that want to pour money in creating and operating this new park throughout 2024.

The Da Nang Consultant Technical Construction Centre will take responsibility for making a preliminary design for temporary Dragon Park at the above- mentioned site while ensuring compliance with the standards of landscapes in order to create a tourist attraction in the city with essential services to serve local people and tourists.

It is known that the floral display and lighting decoration project for Tet 2024 with its design focusing on the image of the dragon - the zodiac sign for the Lunar New Year 2024.

Highlights of floral arrangement sites were stylized dragon mascots in many shapes and postures, ensuring both majestic majesty and a closeness suitable to Asian culture.

Specifically, at the T-shaped Bridge on Bach Dang Street, the main mascot was a stylized dragon mascot "Sacred Dragon Seal" to evoke memories of the time when Hung Kings built the country, whilst the image of a flock of Lac birds flying up into the sky demonstrates Da Nang's desire to reach out to the world.

At the northern campus at the western end of the Dragon Bridge, there was a flying dragon mascot with fire, smoke, and water spraying effects, creating a bustling cheerfulness suitable for the spring atmosphere. At the same time, the dragon's shape was designed to curl and undulate according to the spring dance.

The southern campus at the western end of the Dragon Bridge featured the image of Lac Long Quan and Au Co with the idea of showing 50 children following their father to the sea, 50 children following their mother to the mountains.

A cluster of stylized mascot of dragons travelling in spring, reflecting the joyful atmosphere of Tet, will be installed at the northern campus at the eastern end of Dragon Bridge.

These dragon mascots will be used to create a theme park in Da Nang to attract local residents and tourists.
