Nearly 50 years after the day of peace, along with the policies of the national government, the government, the army and the people of the city, there have been many efforts to implement the policy of gratitude, investment in construction, restoration, renovating and upgrading historical works, martyrs' cemeteries become a place of gratitude, preservation and education of revolutionary traditions for generations.

With time and the impact of weather and climate, many items degraded and were not worthy of their historical value. The Da Nang People's Committee decided to invest in a project to upgrade and renovate the Da Nang Martyrs Cemetery and the road to Phuoc Ninh Cemetery, with a total project investment of VND 37.5 billion. The project features such items as reliefs and houses, stele, bell house, parking lot, landscape improvement, and upgrading the roads to the city cemeteries. The project was assigned to the Hoa Vang District People's Committee as the investor and operator.
