During the visit, Vice Chairman Cuong requested relevant units to carefully evaluate the current situation of existing streets, and consider what has been done and what has not been done before investing in the next phases.
He stressed the need to collect evaluation forms from business households in the An Thuong Tourist Streets area after the pilot implementation period to evaluate the quality, business efficiency, and effectiveness of visitor attraction.
The city leader underlined a must-do for the local authorities to create tourist streets like Chau Thi Vinh Te in a bid to attract more tourists.

Also, Vice Chairman Cuong checked the fence surrounding the Da Nang College of Culture and Arts on Le Quang Dao Street which is proposed to place reliefs and draw mural paintings.
The college representative reported the purpose of renewing the fence by building reliefs and drawing alternating mural paintings. Accordingly, mural paintings mainly depict the beautiful scenery of the city, whilst the reliefs recreate typical architectural works of Viet Nam on cement material. All aim to create new and impressive check-in spaces for both residents and visitors.
Mr. Nguyen Hoa, Chairman of Ngu Hanh Son District People's Committee, said that the pilot implementation period of the An Thuong Tourist Streets project received active support from people in the neighborhoods.
He hoped that the city will continue to implement the second phase of the project with a section from Le Quang Dao Street to Mai Thuc Lan Street.
Under the second phase, a central square where events will be held to serve residents and tourists will be built.
