Regularly, Mr Xe coordinates with members of the Community Front Committee to publicise Party principles, State laws, and various campaigns and emulation movements such as promoting cultural life in the community and combating social vices. He also organizes households to commit to legal compliance.
All community activities are always discussed in advance by Mr Xe with the Party Committee, and Community Front Committee to gather public opinions before implementation. He also identifies and trains influential individuals within the community, fostering consensus between officials and residents.
Thanks to his close attention to individual family circumstances and active collaboration between the Community Front Committee and local authorities, organisations and businesses, Mr Xe has significantly contributed to reducing the poverty rate in Residential Area 4B. At present, there are only 10 poor and 6 near-poor households in the locality.
One of Mr Xe's greatest achievements is changing people's perceptions of poverty. He helps them understand about the importance of employment and stable income rather than relying solely on state support or community aid.
Mr Xe actively encourages able-bodied individuals to seek job opportunities to earn for living. He also solicits support from philanthropists and local authorities to assist the poor and the sick. Monthly, he distributes aid packages worth VND 3 million in total to those in need so that they can stabilise their lives.
Annually, Mr Xe collaborates with various organisations to raise funds and distribute gifts to poor and needy households, amounting to nearly VND70 million.
For the time being, Mr Xe is working with volunteer organisations to conduct surveys and support four outstanding students from poor families with financial aid and study materials until they complete their university education.
In addition to his duties as head of the Community Front Committee of Residential Area 4B, Mr Xe acts as a guardian for many Laotian students studying in Da Nang under the "Homestay" program. Among them are many students whose families face very difficult circumstances in their hometowns.
One such student, Khamphen, expresses gratitude for Mr Xe's kindness and support, particularly for providing a computer for studying. Mr Xe loved Khamphen as his own child and gave him the Vietnamese name Luu. Khamphen pledges to study hard and contribute to fostering good relations between Viet Nam and Laos.
Along with Khamphen, Mr Xe has also supported other students, providing them with independent living spaces within his home.
Mr Le Hoang, Chairman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front of Thanh Khe Tay Ward, acknowledges Mr Xe's tireless efforts in supporting the community, especially the disadvantaged households. Thanks to his coordination and support, many households have escaped poverty, securing stable employment and contributing to social stability.
Besides, Residential Area 4B consistently fulfils its assigned tasks, acting as a strong bridge between the local Party, government, and organisations, ensuring the well-being of the residents.
