Ensuring social infrastructure, improving people's quality of life

During his inspection visits to some roads in Son Tra District that are being proposed for widening, Vice Chairman Son highly commended the great efforts made by the Da Nang Management Board of Construction and Investment Projects for Agriculture and Rural Development, and Son Tra District authorities, for completing the widening of residential roads from 3.5m and 3.75m to 5.5m.
At the same time, he asked construction units and the locality to promote valuable experience and the effectiveness of invested projects, as well as listen to people's opinions to ensure the effective implementation of the 41 projects in phase 2, thereby contributing to improving people's lives and promoting local socio-economic development.
At the third phase of the expanded Ba Tung Resettlement Area project in Hoa Quy Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Mr. Son assigned the Da Nang People Council's Board of Urban Affairs to make a proposal to the municipal People's Committee and relevant units to add necessary social infrastructure items, prevent flooding, and ensure environmental hygiene and people's lives in the area.
He also requested relevant agencies to adjust the investment policy of the expanded Ba Tung Resettlement Area Technical Infrastructure project at phase 3 with the spirit of making a one-time adjustment and effectively implementing the project.
When checking at the land proposed for investment in the current storage area of the Da Nang Administrative Centre on Truong Son Street, Hoa Tho Tay Ward, Cam Le District, Mr. Son directed Cam Le District People's Committee to revoke expired land leased to businesses in a bid to create favorable conditions for handling procedures related to investment projects.
