The one-day event was jointly organised by the National Innovation Centre (NIC), the Asia Foundation, and the University of Technical Education under the University of Da Nang.

The seminar attracted many experts, corporations, high-tech enterprises, and universities in Da Nang and the central region.

During the event, participating delegates focused on exchanging content related to the needs and potential for developing human resources in the semiconductor design industry; orientation for the development of the semiconductor industry in the city; and opportunities and challenges in developing human resources in the semiconductor industry.

Notably, the NIC and the University of Technical Education signed a cooperation agreement on training and developing human resources in the semiconductor industry.

Under the deal, the two sides will cooperate in the construction of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at schools; and the enrollment and the granting of certification of a number of short-term training courses.

Importance will be attached to organising conferences and seminars to improve innovation capacity; deploy training activities on innovation, business management; and enhancing the quality of human resources.

In addition, NIC will provide some semiconductor training software copyrights to schools for teaching purposes; as well as share networks of domestic and foreign experts, investors, and investment funds in soon-to-be-organised activities.

On the occasion, the NIC in collaboration with the Asia Foundation and the Acronics Solutions Co., Ltd. opened the IC design training course which will last from March to June 2024.

The Acronics Solutions Co., Ltd.,  specialises in IC design using FPGA technology to integrate and develop into a complete product from IC design, control programming, and circuit board design and manufacturing.
