Accordingly, over VND108 billion will be spent on upgrading the first campus of the Phu Dong Primary School. The project will be carried out between 2024 and 2027.

Once upgraded, the Phu Dong Primary School will have a total of 45 classrooms, 8 subject and function rooms, a block of administration rooms, learning support rooms, auxiliary blocks, a playground area, a multi-purpose house, and a common living area.

Meanwhile, the more than VND62.7 billion project to upgrade the Phan Dang Luu Primary School will be implemented from 2024-2026.

The school will have a total of 40 classrooms, 8 subject classrooms and a multi-function room, administrative rooms, learning support rooms, auxiliary blocks, playgrounds, sports facilities, a common living area, and other technical infrastructure.

After the inspection visits, Vice Chairwoman Anh Thi acknowledged that after many years of use, the schools’ facilities have been damaged and degraded, causing many inadequacies for teaching and learning activities. Therefore, it is necessary to agree on investment policies to renovate, upgrade, and build new degraded items to ensure a safe and spacious learning environment, meet teaching and learning requirements, and contribute to improving the high quality education in the locality.

At the same time, she required relevant units to pay attention to the architectural and cultural elements of the project; and arrange reasonable teaching and learning locations for the schools during the construction process.
