Work starts on Mandarin Oriental Da Nang beach villa project

On March 20, The Nam Khang Corporation held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Mandarin Oriental Da Nang beach villa project on Truong Sa Street, Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District.

In attendance at the event were Vice Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh and Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Council Nguyen Thi Anh Thi.

Mandarin Oriental Da Nang beach villa project is developed by The Nam Khang Corporation. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group manages and operates the project with a total expected investment of VND 2,624 billion.

The project has a land area of 17.2 hectares including a complex of villas for sale, rental and resort tourism and two 43-storey apartment blocks with a total of 988 apartments.

Speaking at the project’s groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Ho Ky Minh emphasised that, according to Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2019 of the Politburo on construction and development of Da Nang by 2030, with a vision toward 2045, tourism and high-quality services associated with resort real estate are identified as one of the city’s five key development priority areas.

Along with public investment resources, the  municipal People's Committee has issued many mechanisms and policies to support tourism development, with special priority given to attracting many strategic investors to build new complex service areas, large-scale resort tourism projects with a system of diverse, classy, different and creative tourism products with a vision that by 2050, Da Nang will become one of Viet Nam’s centres of beach resort tourism, high-class ecology, creativity and organisation of international conferences and festivals.

The project’s groundbreaking was considered to be a bright spot, a positive signal to promote the launch of other resort tourism projects in the city in 2024.

“I highly appreciate and praise the efforts and determination made by the leaders of The Nam Khang Corporation for this project, especially capital mobilisation in the context of the world economy, and Viet Nam in particular, still having many problems.

Besides, the city also acknowledged the active support of departments and agencies in accompanying and creating conditions to help investors complete legal procedures on land, investment, construction, environment to start the project, the Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee emphasised.

At the same time, it is recommended that The Nam Khang Corporation concentrate maximum resources on finance, human resources, equipment and machinery to implement project construction, and comply with regulations on land planning, construction investment, environmental protection and relevant laws.
Supervision consulting units and construction contractors will strictly comply with construction standards and regulations, ensuring quality, project safety, labour safety and environmental sanitation.

The Ngu Hanh Son District People's Committee will regularly coordinate closely and promptly resolve arising problems to create the most favourable conditions for investors to implement the project on schedule, soon complete the project and put it into effective exploitation and use.
