They are Mr. Le Duc Man, 58, and his wife Do Thi Lan,56, residing in residential group 26, Tho Quang Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang.

These are two characters in the article "Where pain doubles" published in Da Nang Newspaper on October 25, 2023. Mr. Man has lung cancer, and Mrs. Lan has malignant breast cancer.

Because of their poverty, they are assigned to be under outpatient treatment. Mr. Man has radiotherapy once a month, and Ms. Lan undergoes radiotherapy 4 times a month, each time 3 days.

Previously, Mr. Man and Mrs. Lan received a total of VND5.5 million in donation from the newspaper’s readers.
