The Da Nang Statistics Bureau is carrying out the mid-term population and housing census for 2024 in April.

The mid-term population and housing census in 2024 officially carries out in 436 areas corresponding to 13,080 households

Accordingly, the survey targets 75,679 households and their actual residents in 56 wards and communes across the city.

The number of officially surveyed areas is 436, corresponding to 13,080 households. Of these, 7,650 households carry out short ballots and 5,430 households carry out long ballots.

Notably, in the 2024 mid-term population and housing census, the investigation subjects will include people working the armed forces and people with foreign nationality living as part of Vietnamese households.

A total of 209 investigators will participate in the population and housing census.

In March 2024, the Statistics Bureau provided provincial-level training for members of the city’s working group, and municipal-level supervisors and reporters.

Using the direct interview method and lasting until April 30, the survey is set to collect information on the seven main topics of household demography, migration, education, marital status, birth history of females aged 10 to 49, deceased household members, and housing and living conditions.
