In recent days, Da Nang has experienced extreme heat, with temperatures in some places exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. Despite suffering from heat stress when working outdoor in hot weather conditions, many unskilled workers have still ignored it and worked outdoors under the blazing sun to make a living.

Amid extreme heat, quite lovely and beautiful images of kind-hearted people offering drinks who stood next to hot sweaty unskilled workers on the sidewalk have been seen across the city. Many points have been set up across the city to give free drinks to poor laborers with displayed friendly words such as "Dear ride-hailing drivers, sanitation workers! Stop here for a minute to drink a bottle of water and then continue to work", "Give free water to whoever needs it, each person can take a bottle of water", "Ly Na gifts all poor laborers a glass of orange juice, hoping everyone to feel less hot and less hardship, as well as get more health to work". Drink offers included water, orange juice, and sugarcane juice in an attempt to help these people to relieve fatigue and reduce hardship when working outdoors in hot weather conditions.

Sixty-two year- old Nguyen Thi Ha, a resident of Quang Ngai Province, who works as a lottery ticket vendor, emotionally said that sometimes I'm thirsty amid extreme heat but I'm afraid to spend money so I don't drink. Seeing that there was a point on Ha Khe Street giving free orange juice, I immediately stopped by to drink it.

“I was very touched by receiving free sweet and fragrant orange juice. Thank you very much to kind-hearted Da Nang people," Mrs. Ha said emotionally.

In their efforts to support poor laborers in the hot weather conditions, in recent days, hair salon owners, grocery store owners, and others across the city have spent their own money buying soft drinks, sugarcane juice, or oranges to give it to whoever needs. Not only that, but these kind –hearted people have shared information about their drink offers on social media sites to let everyone know. Initially, only one point to give free water was set up in the city, but a few days later, the city has seen a significant increase in the number of such a point to support the needy.

Although the value of drink offers is not great, giving free water to poor laborers in the hot weather conditions has created a beautiful image of Da Nang people, thereby not only spreading kindness but also fostering a sense of togetherness and unity. These are just small stories, but they show that Da Nang people are generous, very emotional, always willing to help others, especially poor laborers. Believing that such a beautiful story will continue to grow in the city.

Da Nang will continue to see extreme heat this month, and stories of kindness will continue growing in the city. Da Nang is not only one of the best places to live and visit in Viet Nam, but moreover, it is truly a lovely place for every one.
