On Saturday evening, thousands of people and tourists filled the stands to wait for the final competition themed “Made of Young Generation” between China and Finland during the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024.

In attendance at the final competition night was Mr. Nguyen Duc Hai, Member of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.

The city’s leaders included Secretary of the Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee cum Chairman of the People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the People's Council Ngo Xuan Thang, and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee cum Head of DIFF 2024’s Organising Committee Tran Chi Cuong.

Also, the event was attended by leaders and former leaders of central departments, ministries and branches; armed forces stationed in the city; Quang Nam - Da Nang Province, and Da Nang through many periods.

In his remarks at the final night of DIFF 2024, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh expressed that since it was first held in 2008, DIFF has become a city-branded event. Besides, the city has done its utmost to refresh itself with new and unique cultural and tourism products to ensure that every visitor coming to the city will feel the festive atmosphere that always pervades the beautiful coastal city.

After tonight, DIFF 2024 will end, but we will continue to meet and accompany in the upcoming development journey. Da Nang is always ready to welcome you all with respect and hospitality” Mr. Chinh emphasised.

He also hoped that the beautiful images of the festival and the city will be kept in tourists’ memories.

One of the new features at the DIFF 2024 final night was the performance from drones with the national flags of the participating countries.
