Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong and representatives of departments, agencies and branches, on Tuesday, paid inspection visit to the Legend Danang Golf Resort where the BRG Open Golf Championship Da Nang 2024 will be held in late August.

During the visit, Vice Chairman Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of relevant agencies and units, especially the BRG Group and units coordinating with the Asian Tour, in preparing for the forthcoming tournament. Up to now, the preparation work for the tournament has been about 80% completed.

He also highly praised BRG Group and Asian Tour for their careful preparatory works which have come up with new ways, aimed at creating a new feature for the event, and avoiding boredom for participants.

He also requested the tournament’s organisers to ensure environmental hygiene, food safety, security and order in order to avoid errors during the event.

Following the success of the three previous tournaments, the BRG Open Golf Championship Da Nang is gradually building the Da Nang golf tourism brand. This year’s tournament is expected to attract many domestic and international golfers.

Mr. Mark Reeves, Deputy General Director of BRG Group, said that the organisers paid great attention to checking the landscape and environment around the golf course, as well as organising the golfers' welcome party in an outdoor space to provide an open, comfortable space for golfers and invited guests.

At the competition area, BRG Group adjusted the quality of grass to provide the best competition fields for golfers.

It is known that the BRG Open Golf Championship Da Nang 2024 will take place from August 29 - 31 with the participation of 144 leading golfers from Viet Nam and abroad.
