The event attracted the participation of experts and doctors from hospitals nationwide, highlighting lectures, recorded and clinical cases by experts from France, the U.S., Germany, S.Korea, Japan, Taiwan (China) and Singapore.

Radiology and Nuclear Medicine are indispensable paraclinical diagnostic specialties, playing an important role in medical examination and treatment. Currently, the Radiology and Nuclear Medicine specialties not only serve simple diagnosis but have also deployed many new techniques, promptly meeting the needs in early diagnosis, treatment and health care.

According to Prof. Dr. Pham Minh Thong, the Chairman of the Viet Nam Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, in healthcare, diagnostic imaging is the leading field applying AI, helping to diagnose faster and produce more accurate results. In the near future, AI will be widely applied in diagnostic imaging, helping to reduce the workload for doctors and nurses because of the large number of patients. This is a useful tool to support doctors in the field of diagnosis, helping to detect very small lesions.

In recent times, the city has devoted a lot of resources to investing in and developing the healthcare system in the direction of strong multidisciplinary and specialized areas. Currently, many of the most advanced radiological and nuclear medicine techniques have been successfully applied by medical facilities across the city in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, cardiovascular, neurological diseases.

AI is one of the key areas that the city is focusing on developing. The workshop is an opportunity to attract the attention of individuals, research groups, domestic and foreign companies to boost experience exchanges and cooperate with the city in this field.
