A traffic route connecting DT.601 road with Loc My Village, Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang, was officially opened to traffic on Wednesday.

In his remarks at the opening ceremony, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh informed that work started on the traffic route connecting DT.601 road and Loc My Village in December 2022.

He also highlighted the importance of the completed route in significantly reducing the traffic overload on Truong Dinh and Pho Nam bridges, fundamentally solving the traffic problem in rescue work during the flood season, shortening the distance to the centre of Hoa Bac Commune, and contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development.

He asked relevant agencies to continue to invest and further improve the traffic infrastructure in Hoa Bac Commune in order to improve people's lives and meet the traffic needs of the people in the coming time.

Chairman Chinh acknowledged and highly appreciated the city’s Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, the municipal Department of Transport, design consultants and contractors for ensuring safety and quality of the project.

He also praised leaders and staff of the Hoa Vang District People's Committee and the district’s Site Clearance Board for their efforts in site clearance work, and the active coordination of local Party committees and authorities during the construction process of the project serving the needs of local people.

In order for the project to be put into operation and promote its effectiveness, Chairman Chinh requested the Department of Transport, the Management Board and contractors to promptly organise the acceptance and handover of the project for official operation and exploitation.

Also at the ceremony, the city’s Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board and the contractor presented 20 bicycles to disadvantaged children in the locality.
