Adjustments to detail planning of waste-to-energy project at Khanh Son Dump
The Da Nang People's Committee has just approved adjustments to the detail planning at a scale of 1:500 of the household solid waste treatment plant in the Khanh Son Waste Dump in Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District.
Accordingly, the project has a total planned land area of 9.387 hectares, with a capacity of treating household waste of 650 tonnes/day using waste-to-energy technology.
The planning for total land use has been adjusted in comparison with the detailed plan approved in March 2020 in order to meet the selected technology requirements of the plant. Specifically, the main plant will be located in the southwest part of the project. Meanwhile, the secondary raw water treatment plant and landfill (ash and slag) will be in the northeast part of the project.
In addition, items serving production (leachate treatment area, general pumping room, bottom slag treatment plant and production of slag products, etc.) and other items will be arranged according to the factory operation diagram at the project centre.
The municipal People's Committee requests the Viet Nam Environment JSC to work with relevant agencies to carry out the next basic construction steps in accordance with regulations in order to ensure the progress.
