Viet Nam Youth Federation celebrates 68th anniversary of traditional day
The Central Committee of the Viet Nam Youth Federation held a ceremony on Sunday in Da Nang to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Viet Nam Youth Federation (October 15, 1956 - October 15, 2024) and award the "October 15" Award in 2024.

In recent times, the Viet Nam Youth Federation and its chapters at all levels have innovated their operating methods, and carried out new and meaningful programmes and activities, so as to satisfy the needs of young people, and create an environment to help them experience and mature.
In particular, the Viet Nam Youth Federation has actively promoted creativity, and volunteer spirit, and awakened potential of young people to take the lead in implementing the cause of industrialisation and modernization of the country, and excellently completing all tasks in localities and units.

The Viet Nam Youth Federation currently has more than 9 million members, with chapters in 63 provinces and cities; 4 domestic and foreign corporations and groups; 5 Vietnamese Youth and Students Associations abroad.
Its chapters nationwide have organised many meaningful programmes and movements such as "Youth starting a business", "Youth protecting the country", "Youth volunteering", "Creative youth", and "I love my Fatherland".

On the occasion, the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Youth Federation presented the "October 15" Award to 85 youth federation officials in recognition of their outstanding achievements in youth federation work and youth movements. Five of them came from Da Nang.
Also on the same day, the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Youth Federation organised many activities such as “A journey to red addresses”; a ceremony to report achievements to Uncle Ho; a visit to the Military Zone 5 Museum, the Da Nang Museum, and the Hoang Sa Exhibition House; and a handover ceremony for the project "Youth Sports Space - Replenishing Energy, Energizing Youth".
