City Party leaders attend Great National Unity Festival
Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang joined residents in Ta Lang and Gian Bi villages, Hoa Bac Commune, Hoa Vang District in the National Great Unity Festival on Saturday.

On behalf of the city's leaders, Secretary Quang sent congratulations to the cadres, party members and all the people of Ta Lang and Gian Bi villages. He affirmed that solidarity is a precious tradition and the strength of the Vietnamese people throughout the process of gaining national independence and unifying the country in the past as well as in the cause of building and defending the country at present.
In Da Nang, for many years, the National Great Unity Festival has become a beautiful tradition in residential areas, bringing the work of the Front to the grassroots, reaching out to each family and each person. Mr. Quang was pleased with the daily changes, and the increasingly improved lives of the people in the two villages of Ta Lang and Gian Bi in particular and Hoa Bac Commune in general.

The city Party chief said that in recent times, the city has always offered the maximum conditions for ethnic minorities to ensure their material and spiritual lives, develop their economy with peace of mind, and contribute to the construction of their homeland.
Typical examples are projects on the socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the 2021-2030 period; policies to support the preservation and promotion of the culture of the Co Tu ethnic group in the 2022-2030 period; and a pilot project on exploiting tourism services in combination with agricultural, forestry and aquaculture development in Hoa Vang district.

On behalf of the city leaders, Secretary Quang congratulated Hoa Bac Commune for its positive achievements in recent times. He also commended cadres and people of Hoa Bac Commune in general, and Ta Lang and Gian Bi villages in particular, for their great efforts and attempts to overcome difficulties.
To continue to create favourable conditions for the construction and development of Ta Lang and Gian Bi villages in the future, he requested the Fatherland Front Committee of villages and commune to continue to consolidate and build a strong national solidarity bloc in residential areas, and arouse and promote democracy, and solidarity and consensus among the people.

He also urged leaders of Hoa Vang District to continue to pay more attention to reducing multidimensional poverty and give more close guidance for households that have escaped poverty to become well-off and rich. Also, heed will be on protecting people's lives during the rainy and flood season, and at the same time, mobilising people to plant and protect forests to prevent damage caused by natural disasters.

In his speech delivered at the National Great Unity Festival in residential group No. 11, Hoa Phat Ward, Cam Le District on the same day, Standing Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh praised the residential group for their outstanding achievements in ensuring security, social order and safety; as well as caring for the poor, children and pupils in difficult circumstances.

He asked the residential group to organize well meaningful activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 20205), take better care of social policy families and people with meritorious services, and promote the role of the people in building a clean and comprehensively strong State and political system.
He took this occasion to present gifts to 5 outstanding individuals and 5 poor households in the residential area, each worth VND 500,000.
