Da Nang leader attends 2024 Great National Unity Day
Chairman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang Le Van Trung joined residents in Man Lap Tay 1 residential area, Man Thai Ward, Son Tra District for the Great National Unity Day in 2024 on Sunday afternoon.

Chairman Trung highly praised the positive achievements of Man Lap Tay 1 residential area in the past time in promoting the spirit of solidarity; strictly implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; and implementing local emulation movements.
He, at the same time, urged the Front Work Committee of the ward to focus on building the Man Lap Tay 1 into a civilised and modern residential area, as well as preserving the culture of the coastal people who are hard-working, patient, and always overcome difficulties in the coming time.
He added that the city plans to organise many activities to celebrate major holidays in 2025, especially the 50th anniversary of the Da Nang Liberation Day (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025). He, therefore, hoped that cadres, party members and people in the residential area will actively respond to the organisation of celebration activities, and synchronously implement the model "National Flag and Party Flag Road" launched in residential areas by the municipal Fatherland Front Committee.

Reported at the festival, in 2024, the Man Lap Tay 1 residential area mobilised the "For the Poor" Fund to reach 102% of the plan.
The movement “All people protect national security” and the model “Clean house, beautiful alley” have been effectively implemented. 100% of households have had sanitary garbage containers, and nearly 95.8% of households have been recognised as “Cultural family”.
On the occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the municipal People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi awarded two Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the municipal People's Committee to the residential area in recognition of its outstanding achievements in implementing the campaign “All people unite to build new-style rural areas, civilized urban areas”, and presented gifts to disadvantaged families.
